We have had a wonderful break this Christmas season – we have done a lot of eating, drinking, reading, skiing, visiting with friends, eating and relaxing. Tim got himself a trombone, which he has been playing daily. Most of the time he waits until I leave the house before he starts, which is nice of him. He does play Auld Land Syne rather well, though. For my part, I haven’t picked up any new habits, good or bad, but I have caught up on a lot of sleep. I have got a start on the most dreaded winter chores: book-keeping and preparing tax returns. Somewhat amazingly, I am excited to bake bread tomorrow.

Wow! That is quite a haul! Your little tree looks overwhelmed!
Now, more snow please!
Happy New Year!
