Rain, Rain, Go Away.

This week at The Quesnel Farmer’s Market:

Savoury Loaf: Onion and Cracked Black Pepper
Scones: Organic Concord Grape and Cranberry-Orange
As well as our usual line-up of breads (see the “Breads and Goodies” section of our website).
Our newest friend Desmond will be there, too – 100% whole-wheat yummy goodness!

Tim has been spending his time wisely while the rain falls incessantly. He has built a custom bike-bread rack for Bouchie Lake Country Store. They have been selling our bread since they opened in March 2015, and if you haven’t visited this store yet, it is a must-see! They are only 10 km west of Quesnel – go check it out! There are quite a few cool things to look at and buy, not to mention a great bread rack.

Nice rack, Sarah.

And what have I been doing while the rains are falling? Hmmm….not much except work. Does being grumpy count? One fun thing: I took a whirl-wind trip to Edmonton last weekend to attend my uncle’s 80th birthday party. It was certainly great to catch up with family and to share a few laughs.

Selling bread is a gas.

The weather man says the rain is going to stop soon. That is great news – I don’t think I trust the seaworthiness of the arc that Tim is planning to build from spare bike parts….
