Nice Rack, Tim.

This week at the Bread Peddler:

Tues Nov 11, 4 to 8 pm: Bread for sale – fresh from the oven at The Bread Peddler. Yep, we’re open.
Wed Nov 12, 9 am: Bread delivered to Green Tree Health & Wellness, Reid Street, Quesnel – check out our new bread rack!
Wed Nov 12, 4 to 7 pm: Pizza Night at The Bread Peddler – let us make your scrumptious dinner before you rush off to the All Candidate’s Meeting at The Wells Community Hall. (Note we are closing early so we can get to the meeting as well).

Tim and I have been busy with the new mixer – it is as shiny as it is going to get, and it is in its new location in the dough room. The motor is re-belted, re-wired and re-installed: now all it needs is POWER!

All cleaned up and now just waiting for power!

The hockey stick part of the "hockey stick mixer" (aka "diving arm mixer"). I'm pretty sure the Germans who invented it didn't call it a hockey stick mixer. And I guess they didn't call it a diving arm mixer, either, ja?

Tim wanted to strengthen the floor a bit under where the mixer is – what a great idea! The only trouble was in the implementing of the idea, as is often the case with good ideas:

Wait, TIm! Don't go under there - it's OK, I found it under the bed!

Tim also built a new rack for displaying our bread at Green Tree Health & Wellness in Quesnel. It is quite beautiful and holds a lot of bread, too. You know where to go to check it out! See you there on Wednesday!

Nice rack, Tim.

  1. That is a nice rack indeed! Guessing it’s for the town sales at Green Tree? Love the idea of French Toast … getting hungry thinking of it. I’m feeling the love of locally grown/produced food lately, and I think my body is loving the choices too. It’s amazing what the Cariboo has to offer. Thanks for the bread Kate and Tim – keep on keeping on! 🙂

    1. We used the poppy seed bread for french toast but I am so wanting to try the raisin cinnamon bread… ahem! See you Friday night!
